We run two self contained cottages on an apple farm in the Huon Valley. We give all our guest the opportunity to come out in the late afternoons to feed all our lovely farm animals, we have quite a range and most of them eat out of your hand even the big Highlander cows can’t resist a juicy apple. It’s a great experience for young and old and is of course totally optional, some guest like to do this every afternoon but it is all up to you how you like to plan your day We have fishing rods available at the reception with plenty of great fishing spots near by. There are also quite a few secluded beaches around Cygnet. You can find fossils on the farm or go for a stroll through the orchards, we encourage our guest to pick apples, berries, gather eggs or dig potatoes in season. The farm stay has a good range of books, dvd’s, toys, boardgames for young and old. In front of the farm stay you’ll find an enclosed garden area with bbq facilities and small play ground.
